  Positive- Jacob was friendly and pleasant. The interior of the vehicle was professionally detailed and the exterior had been cleaned and polished to a reasonable standard.
  Negative - I bought the car from interstate based on the published photos, video and on conversations with the two brothers. I was assured there were no scratches or damage to the duco and was told that there were some scratches on the interior on one door. I was extremely disappointed to see very noticeable scratches / gouges on the rear passenger door extending to the rear quarter panel ..... about 10 inches long and half a centimetre wide. They had been roughly touched up but extremely noticeable. Not sure whether they occurred between my payment and pick up or always present and photos on internet didn’t show them. Solution offered by salesman was to get both panels painted at my cost (extra $660) plus the time spent off road and running around to get it done. The interior scratches on the door plastics were also much more extensive than described over the phone and evident on 3 of the 4 doors and on the hatch door.
  Also please note this dealership does not service vehicles prior to delivery and is an extra cost if you want the vehicle serviced.
  I may have bought the vehicle anyway and most certainly would have paid to have them repair the panel damage rather than have the hassle of running around getting quotes.
  I have bought a number of vehicles from interstate both privately and from dealerships through the internet and relying on the salesman’s description of the vehicle. This is my first negative experience.
  Please be aware when dealing with this company that photos posted on Carsales website and on their own website may not clearly show damaged panels or interior damage and that the salesman may not describe all imperfections that may concern a fastidious buyer. I would definitely advise against purchasing from interstate without getting an independent inspection and independent photos.

  Post script on 9/12/19. Since submitting this review Steggall motors have aggressively 1. threatened to report me to Google and have the review removed. 2. Threatened to take legal action against me for defamation. 3. Stated in writing that they recorded phone conversations made when I questioned the salesman leading up to purchase. (hopefully true!!) but certainly many other companies use the ethical business practice of notifying callers if phone conversations are being recorded.
  At no stage since submitting a negative review has Steggall motors asked, “What can we do to make you a satisfied customer?”
  I have been polite in all dealings with this company and did not become aggressive to the salesman even when showing him the photos from the Carsales website that showed no evidence of panel damage”.
  I make no allegations regarding the honesty or integrity of the staff of Steggall Motors or in regard to their business practices. This is simply my true reflections of my personal dealings in this individual circumstance with Mike Steggall motors.

  I visited this car showroom yesterday and the staff were really nice. Helpful and NOT pushy. They even offered to park my car while I looked around. Thanks Jacob! I just may be back to buy that Wrangler!

  Didnt push me to buy the car, left me to do my own inspection and answered all of my 100 questions, very relaxed but still professional. A big thank you to jake who stayed back after 5pm so i pick up my Swift :).
